Satisfying Your Pizza Cravings Without the Old Dairy Obligation

Daiya, the brand that cracked the code on dairy-free cheese, has officially announced the launch of its new and improved pizza line.

According to certain reports, the refreshed line comes bearing a lighter, fluffier, and crispier gluten-free crust, with enhanced rich tomato sauce, both the components complimented by Daiya’s reformulated cheese made with Daiya Oat Cream™ blend. More on the same would reveal how it builds upon an assortment of products launched few months ago as a breakthrough for consumers seeking the indulgence of dairy, without the dairy itself,

Talk about what all is included in this new and improved line from Daiya, we begin from its Cheese Pizza, which happens to be a classic with a delicious tomato sauce, featuring herby flavors that amplify the cheesiness. Next up, we have Meatless Pepperoni Pizza. This one brings to the fore new meatless pepperoni slices that offer a substantially spicier and meatier flavor.

Moving on to Daiya’s all new Supreme Pizza, it is reportedly packed with a vibrant assortment of vegetables, Beyond Meat® meatless sausage, and a generous layer of melted plant-based mozzarella. Then, there is the Fire Roasted Veggie Pizza, which enjoys a blend of flavorful onions, bell peppers, roasted garlic, tomatoes, and basil as its toppings. Apart from that, herby tomato sauce and dairy-free mozzarella is also present in the given blend.

“At Daiya, we’ve made it our mission to ensure there’s a dairy-free and gluten-free option that doesn’t sacrifice on taste and truly stands out on supermarket shelves,” said Melanie Domer, Chief Commercial Officer at Daiya. “By investing millions into our bakery facility, we’ve been able to completely overhaul nearly every aspect of our pizzas, delivering an enhanced taste that meets the high standards of pizza lovers everywhere.”

Hold on, we still have a couple of bits left to unpack here, considering we still haven’t touched on the new line’s Meatless BBQ Chick’n Pizza. This one features a smoky, tangy BBQ sauce paired with pulled plant-based chick’n-style shreds, fire-roasted tomatoes, red onions, and parsley.

Rounding up highlights would be Daiya’s Meatless Meat Lovers Pizza, which is understood to be loaded with Beyond Meat® sausage crumbles and refreshed plant-based pepperoni slices for a hearty and satisfying taste.

Among other things, we ought to mention that Daiya’s new pizzas are priced between $9.99 and $12.99 and are available at major retailers including Whole Foods, Kroger, Walmart, Metro, and Save on Foods.

Markedly enough, the product refresh in question comes on the back of Daiya’s multi-million-dollar investment into a bakery facility at the dairy-free-dairy brand’s LEED certified manufacturing space in British Columbia. The stated investment, on its part, has made it possible for Daiya to produce all components of the pizzas in-house. This, in turn, has doubled the company’s production capacity to deliver the best dairy-free pizza experience available. For the future, Daiya plans to also roll out improvements across its Flatbread line, with a launch date penciled in for later this year.

Another detail making this development all the more important is rooted in a survey, which revealed how an average American enjoys pizza three times a month. In fact, more than 74% of consumers would go on to say that they would be happy to eat it for any meal.

Founded in 2008, Daiya’s rise up the ranks stems from being a pioneer of plant-based, delicious, dairy-free products. At present, the company’s line of premium, plant-based foods packs together multiple cheese formats including blocks, shreds, slices, sticks, cream cheese style spreads, and cheese sauces, as well as items like Mac & Cheese, salad dressing, and more. Daiya’s excellence in what it does can also be understood once you consider it currently has more than 25,000 grocery stores across U.S. and Canada.
